Dr. Jacob Fischer, D.O.
Dr. Fischer graduated from the Western University of Health Sciences in 2020. He then served a medical internship in Saint Petersburg Florida where he received training in integrative functional medicine, surgery, intensive care, pulmonology, and emergency medicine at Saint Petersburg General Hospital. Additionally, he was trained in cardiology at Salem General Hospital and nephrology at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland Oregon. Dr. Fischer has also done research in reproductive neuroendocrinology, metastatic breast cancer, and circadian rhythm biology and how it pertains to disease.
Currently Dr. Fischer is chief physician and medical director for Big Island Osteopathy as well as lead physician and faculty member for Mana’o Mana health retreat on The Big Island of Hawai'i where he is licensed.
In addition to his clinical practice, research, and private consultations with patients, he is a passionate and devoted educator of patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals about the importance of lifestyle and nutrition in overall wellness.
